Hello, I'm interested in replacing a dented front driver side fender on a 2004 Volvo v70r. What cars could I take this from? Would it need to be a R series wagon only or could a s70 work? Regular v70? C70? Would it be the same with the hood, driver door, or front bumper cover?
Thanks for you time

Any 2001-2007 standard V70. no XC70s
Why would you ask if an S70 (or C70) would work?
Different platform, different car, different era!

Thanks for the reply. Well I asked because I didn't know. I know the 850 sedan and wagon would use the same fender so I assumed that it was possible for the 70 series cars to use the same fender. I haven't had the opportunity to compare them. What about the hood, headlights, and door? Same answer? Also I know the front bumper cover is different anyone know where to source one?

JRL, be nice. Not everybody knows as much about Volvo as you.
Mike, up to model year 2000 S70, V70, and to some degree XC70, C70 and even 850 shared parts. 2001+ was all-new. https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/volvo-p2-platform
P2 hood, headlights and doors are common to sister P2s, year-for-year. Excepting XC70 body because of exterior trim plastic on doors.
The front bumper is specific to P2 R cars, and the only place to get them as far as I know is... another P2 R car. Look on Craigslist in your area for cars getting parted out. Or go to a pick-n-pull.
