1988 760 pulsing lights at idle

Hey guys, as the title says...

All the lights on my wagon pulse visibly, about twice a second anytime the engine is at idle. Above idle, no flicker. No charge warning light coming on when it shouldn't or other charging symptoms. New Interstate battery over the summer. Various electrical loads don't affect the pulsation. Thanks.

Have you checked the alternator output?

Not yet. That's first on the list as soon as it stops raining.
