2000 V70 Runs terribly after getting gas

I have noticed the last few times that when I go and get gas the car runs terribly. It starts to run better after a few minutes and runs great until the next fill up.
Any help would be appreciated!

For starters, when you fill it just let it go until it clicks and stop. Don't try to round up to the next even amount.

My '94 did the same thing when I tried to overfill it. I think what happens is that the evap line gets liquid in it and it winds up sucking raw gas into the intake manifold through the charcoal cannister and the purge valve.

Once I stopped trying to add extra gas I never had the problem again.

Okay, thank you. I will keep an eye on that next time, but here where I live gas stations won't top off your tank.

Not sure on the '00 but on my '96 850 Turbo I was able to solve similar issues by cleaning the purge valve. I just sprayed some carb cleaner in it and flushed it out.
