I did a search for code P0039 and found this thread, I now have the same P0039 code on my 2006 XCV70 with 162K. My question is how do you know that it is the rear O2 sensor? The print out just states O2 snsor fault. Do not want to buy the wrong one only to find it was the other.
Thanks for any help Steve

Split topic into thread on code P0036
P0039'shows up,as a turbocharger fault in Google, and isn't in our database of 1999+ codes above.
I would hold off on oxygen sensor work until you get some with VIDA to read your car and get the official diagnosis
Software scanners often get the code right and the description wrong. My 1999 CVVT valve fault was reported as a cylinder 8 misfire....
