1998 V70 AWD Propshaft uni joint

Post by frontrow »

Hello folks
I want able to find this info on any searches so just making a quick record. Surely no harm done if this is doubling or redoubling up.
While the lovely people at Colorado drive shaft are a reliable source of awd drive shaft components, the uni joint in cars that have the removable type is a very generic unit. In Australia the part number for a Japanese TOYO unit is K5-LGB80R and you can almost get them at the milk bar.
Cheers

The U Joints are pretty easy but I have had the most trouble with the CV type joints where they mount to the transfer case and the differential. Do you have a source on those?

Thanks for the tip,

Colorado sells just the CV joint as well driveshaftparts.com, from what I can tell they sell the exact same unit but driveshaft sells it considerably cheaper. Granted not OEM, but they aren't using OEM in the rebuilds either.
