Relay switch front windshield wipers

I have an 08 XC90, the windshield wipers used to work then someone (the guilty party shall remain nameless... )decided it would he a good idea to remove the load of fluffy 3 inches of snow with the wipers. Now the wipers won't work at all. It isn't a fuse the relay switch could he bad, I can't find a place to order one. Can anyone point me in the right direction or maybe has had this issue on a vehicle?

Most all vehicles use circuit breakers in the wiper motor circuit to safeguard situations like this . If it has been over 4 hrs. the breaker has cooled & reset. Try it again and see if it works now.

Tried that, it has been several days of them not working, looked through all 3 fuse boxes, the mechanic friend I have looking into it is the one who thinks the relay switch could be bad. But thank you for the idea!
