independent mechanic in chicago

Looking for a recommendation for a reputable independent Volvo mechanic in Chicago. My son borrowed my 2004 V40 and drove it to school in Chicago. He called me this morning to say that the steering is making a lot of noise and the brakes aren't working. If it were closer to home, I would take care of this myself (or at least attempt to do so) but that isn't practical now. He lives on the south side. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

He has been working on my 08 s80 and 09 xc90 for about 2 years now. He's saved me hundreds of dollars, if not thousands. He does use genuine Volvo parts or offers suggestions for better quality aftermarket brands . Your choice, no pressure. I like that.

Probably the best service experiences I've had over the last few years. His prices are fair and workmanship is of the highest quality.

Does your Volvo Mechanic follow up with a phone call after service to make sure everything is ok? Mine does!

Same here. Took my 2004 V70 and the service was great! Highly recommend to anyone with any and I mean ANY issues with a any Volvo. [email protected] is his contact. Volvo surgeon in my opinion.
