Volvo V70 - what components trigger the orange engine service light?

The orange "Engine Service Required" light lights up occassionally on my customers Volvo V70 T5 dashboard (if it goes red it's really serious!!). Last time it was low coolant due to engine work, but just below min on the expansion bottle so no danger. It's something simple again but my customers can't find which. Does anyone know the complete list of things which trigger it so my customers can check one by one?

You need a code reader to work on these cars. The list is huge, and would be of little value.

Any component from transmission, throttle and engine components and sensors (of which there are at least 15 on a turbo car) could trigger the engine light.

The list in completeness is provided here on Matthews and is some 300 items long.
