Hi all,
I went and bought a 2006 s40 just before Christmas and now having a million issues.
Unfortunately I bought this from a private seller - all was good for a couple of days - then the issues started.
Anti Skid Service is permanently on now (as such reduced power - wont go above 3k revs), engine management light was on (however has turned off), also understand it has a vac leak (manifold air intake pipe leaking, apparently), screen wash doesn't work (though motor makes a noise, so assuming broken bottle/hose and all leaked out).
I took it into local volvo dealer (needless to say was ripped off) for it to be plugged in and diagnosed. Came back with a full page of codes that I got them to give me (avoiding any actual work at volvo where possible).
Anyone help me out and let me know how to help sort the following codes:
DTC is found active codes:
BCM-0101 - Communication between control units. Communicational problems with ECM.
BCM-0115 - Communication between control units. Communicational problems.
ECM-2A10 - Particulate filter temperature sensor - Signal too high.
ECM-2A30 - Particulate trap - Blocked.
ECM-2A50 - Particulate Trap - Faulty Signal.
ECM-6630 - Glow Plug - Faulty Signal.
DTC Is Not Found Active
ADM-E010 - Control module power supply voltage too low.
CEM-6C05 - Central lock, driver door lock failure
CEM-6C06 -Passenger door
CEM-6C07 - left rear
CEM-6C08 - right rear
CEM-6C13 - Double Lock, driver door lock failure
CEM-6C14 - Passenger
CEM-6C15 - Left rear
CEM-6C16 - Right Rear
CEM-6F51 - Tail gate handle faulty signal
CEM-8A09 - Low beam right faulty signal
CEM-8A12 - Low beam left faulty signal
CEM-8F26 - Relay, front windshield washer pump internal fault
CEM-8F28 - Relay, rear washer motor internal fault (the car has no rear wiper - why would it have a rear washer motor fault)
CEM-8F42 - Relay, tailgate wiper motor faulty signal
CEM-DE43 - Communication with DDM control module signal missing
CEM-DE45 - Communication with PDM control module signal missing
CEM-DE49 - Communication with SWM control module signal missing
CEM-E001 - Communication with control module faulty signal
DDM-E001 - Control Module communication internal fault
DIM-E003 - Configuration fault software fault
ECM-1507 - Turbo control - Too low pressure
ECM-2A40 - Particulate trap - signal too high
ECM-5700 - Crash even received (This mean the cars been in a crash?)
EPS-0080 - Steering angle sensor faulty signal
PDM-E001 - Control Module communication internal fault
PDM-E010 Control Module Power supply too low
The particulate filter codes I understand, same with the Low beam codes.
I don't understand why anti-skid service and reduced power are coming on when I fail to see an error code for anything to do with the brakes?
Thanks

Wondering the same, too. I did read somewhere that when you get these kinds of gremlins, the first thing to do is to take apart the fuse panel under the glovebox and to spray electrical cleaner like nuts in there and clean it out... Hope we never have problems like this!!!
