On my 1998 V70, I'm trying to diagnose a AT-311 fault that my mechanic reported to me. He's unable to fix it after replacing the engine speed sensor. He didn't charge me but suggested I take the problem to the dealer.
Not to give up so quickly, I measured the new sensor and its 468 ohms. So it's in spec. I went by the 1995 850 Auto Trans Diagnosis guide, and I measured the resistance of TCM pin 1 and 2 on connector A and it's open. Then I checked pin 1 and 2 to sensor connector pins and they're both open. After comparing the TCM connectors to the 1995 document, I suspect I need to find the right schematic or pinout diagram. The TCM part number is P09442108. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks
