Just like to say hi and thanks to everyone on this forum. I recently purchased a 1999 S80 t6 my first Volvo. It had the SRS,emission,ABS and anti skid warning lights on. The SRS was solid and the rest intermittent. I spent awhile on this forum being a troll. Purchased a dice interface and got vida running on vmware, worked out of the box. The car had a new battery so I wasn't too worried about the SRS light as I was told it came on after a local guy put the new battery in. It has 200 000 ks on it and has been serviced by volvo every 15 000 ks.
I reflowed the ABS module ( 9472866 ) and now all warning lights are off including the emission light which I was worried about because I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere regarding the ABS module. Gearbox seems strong at the moment so hopefully I will get a good run out of that. So thanks to everyone again on this site for sharing their info and hopefully I can be of some help one day.
