The driverside windowswitch keept falling out of its socket all the time, so it was time to have a look and see what could be done.
For this repair/temp fix, you need
Pair of plyers
2 Staples about 11-12 mm wide
There are several other good guides to removing the window controll unit, so I'll just skip that part
- The culprints, worn and bent plastic hinges

- This kind of staple, might need a little bending to get it right

- place the staple behind the button and under its collar, then use a pair of plyers to bend it over the plastic hinges, dont tighten it to much, as you want to have some movement, and as little friction against the plastic as possible

Note that this is a temporarily fix, while you looking for an proper replacement.
