Wrong O2 Sensor - any options?

Hi all,

I have a 2000 v70xc and decided to change out the O2 sensors as my fuel economy is not great. Put the rear in no problem but the front has a cable much shorter than what is on the car. Upon investigation it appears I purchased Bosch 15667 for the 1999 when I should have purchased Bosch 17070. I bought from FCP and obviously can return for an exchange but given I am in Australia and return shipping will be a hassle was wondering if there are any options to simply extend the cable or if there are extension cables that can be bought? Presuming of course the only difference in the parts is the length of the cable......Thanks for reading!

You got wrong sensors since '99 & '00 use Denso sensors instead of Bosch.
Engine management is also Denso.
Pm precopster,he is from Australia too,Melbourne if i remember correctly.Maybe he can help you out.

He had one available a while back that was new-in-the-box for very reasonable price too!
