1999 Volvo S80 T6 - continually blowing O2 sensor fuse

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

1999 Volvo S80 T6 - continually blowing O2 sensor fuse

Post by BodenM »

Hi all,

Trying to figure out an issue that's cropped up on my S80, it's started continually blowing the O2 sensor fuse. The first time it happened a few weeks ago, I replaced the fuse, cleared the trouble codes and it was fine. A few days ago, it popped the fuse again, so I replaced it again, and almost immediately it blew the fuse again. I feel like one of the sensors could be shorting out somewhere, but I don't know where to start looking. For reference, these are the trouble codes the car throws when the fuse blows:
