P80 floor mats - 'R' model

I have a set of 'R' model floor mats (carpet type not rubber) with the "R' logo on them that I picked up. The front mats have holes in them for the pins at the rear of the carpet to hold them in place. Should there be a plastic grommet of some sort to prevent the mat coming loose? All my recent P80 experiences even in PnP have rubber Volvo mats, but if I recall the 850's had a plastic clip that held the carpet mats in place over the 2 pins.

Any advice/clarity or pictures of offending articles would be appreciated.

There are two pins in my floor for the mats, on both the driver's side and passenger side. They are pushing holes into my universal rubber mats, I should probably drill through them to make it a cleaner fit.

Mine are the same, but if I recall correctly, the over-mats (carpet type) that Volvo used had a plastic ring around the 2 holes to give them more strength against ripping, so if anyone can confirm this I'd appreciate it. If you have these carpet mats (not necessarily 'R' versions but any) a picture of how the pins fit would be great.

Plastic ring.
Pretty hard to snap in if you have weak fingers, it takes a pretty hard push

I have looked up on Vida and found there is a kit and also 2 parts of a ring that can be bought. Thanks for the help anyway.

I like that there are all these kits around. There are quite a few that I need to track down.
