Blown turbo usually means oil passing through, which would burn a more white color. Maybe coolant seal in the turbo? Does the exhaust smell sweet?

How is it boosting? Is the turbo making noise when in boost? How is fuel consumption? How old is the PCV? Does it smoke while driving?

The car boosts well. It builds boost through the rpm range.
It smokes all the time now. Even when running, while at acceleation.
The P.O stated that the PCV was recently done. I have paperwork on it. I am starting to think it wasnt done properly. It shows on ODO PCV has now 20k. When I bought the car it didn't smoke at all. I drove it from AZ to California 450miles without a problem

I'd suggest you re-do the PCV, or at least take it apart and check it is clean. In particular check the pipe into the front of the block (the lower one with the 1" long metal wrapped pipe) to ensure the block is clear to the oil pan. Also check the PTC nipple is clear.

The reason to re-do or check the PCV system is a lot of people don't check all the system and just cheap out and replace the catch tank only. They don't check all the pipes and breather holes in the block and PTC are clear.

I can't recall if you did a compression test? If not do a wet and dry test. Which should help ID if there is a bad piston seal or valve.

Neil.

+1 on the compression test. You usually get blue smoke when the valve stem seals are bad though, if I'm remembering correctly. Although, you do say that it gets worse when it's up to temperature. Which I believe is also a symptom.

What oil are you running. I think you have a turbo leak on the back end or a blown valve stem seal.
