So the often asked question, what do you think this car is worth? I am interested in getting a s60 t6- r design but don't want to trade my beloved s70 in, because I know I won't get anywhere near what I think its worth. Here is the car in a nutshell…
S70 T5 White with Tan leather 4/5 on cosmetics, I am 2nd owner since 105,000 miles. This car NEEDS nothing.
Used Transmission put in 2 months ago with 85,000 miles on it and a 2 year warranty on parts and labor if anything ever goes wrong. Works perfectly so far.
I put in a whole new dash fiberglassing the mounts so they don't break and no squeaks!
2 new front seats
No lights on on the dash
July 2015- Front upper spring seats replaced, replaced both front axles, front control arms, replaced o2 sensors
I put in a new heater core last year including heater hose coupling- Heat gets scorching
All radiator hoses replaced in January
K&N air filter
Castrol syntec fully synthetic oil used for last 4 years
15% tint all around
iPOD hook up to original factory radio
Windshield is tinted at 60% (really enjoyable during the summer, never gets hot)
As you can imagine as a member here, I have babied this car, I used to own an auto detailing business and I wash and wax her often.
I have done so many little things here and there I can't remember, examples are replacing all four door lock actuators, replaced wood trim panel, mass air flow sensor, this car is in absolute incredible shape.
AC blows at 40 DEGREES!!!! Almost too cold sometimes.
I have receipts from servicing it and minor fixes for the past 6-7 years! I worked in a Volvo repair shop for 6 months just to learn how to fix and work on them.
Now the bad things about the car:
Front bumper could use a repainting, which I might do here in a month, couple dings / scratches but nothing major and the miles.. 282,000 miles.
I got rid of my 740 with 300k miles on it for 1,000 bucks. That car was not in the shape this one is in.
I get compliments on this car all the time, how clean it is, etc.
This car still pulls hard and with my love and time that has gone into it I would rather see it go to someone who understands the beauty of a T5. I am undecided on selling it or keeping it, but what would you pay for a very well maintained s70t5 like this?
I AM GOING TO GET MORE PICTURES, THESE ARE JUST THE ONES I HAD ON MY COMPUTER. I CAN DETAIL THE CAR AND TAKE 50 PICS IF WANTED.
How much would you pay for this car?

VERY nice T5 but too many miles
Realistically you may, I say may get $2500 (bumper painted) for it because of it's great condition, but that may take a while.

I would not even consider to sell it if i were you.Mine is also in perfect condition in all aspects. It's '97 and i don't even think to sell it because i couldn't get near as it is worth.Bought it almost new when it was under 3 years old back in 2000.
Keep it and buy that s60 t6 you like.
That's what i would do.

It is a really beautiful car.
But, I would say it's also a classic case of spending a lot more money on parts that you won't be able to get back when selling. Personally, I'd drive it until running into a repair that simply cost too much money compared to getting another car. Then, buy the S60 T6

Yeah, I probably should of gotten rid of it at the transmission failure in January, but even sitting, not moving it looks so good. I didn't want to send it off to a junk yard. So I had it towed in and fixed. The emotional value vested in the car wouldn't allow me to junk it. Sigh. Maybe the t6-r will have to wait, but I mean look at this car, and that price ain't bad, and a 7 year, 100k mile warranty too? I want sooo bad!!!

With the rare red oak floor option and staggered seats you should do well
Now if it were a HPT stick you might be talking real money....

I am in Austin too
I would say keep it.
Any Volvo that is pampered that is older, the money you put in quickly surpasses the market value you can get from it selling it.
The best way is to keep it, or give it to some family member that will take care of it.
