Hello Everyone,
Sad news today. No, my 960 is still doing great, just bought a cassette deck-to-aux wire converter so I can use my phone. But, last week I nearly chopped my daughter's head off. My poor beemer. She supposedly ' went over a speed bump to fast at the train station' ripped the oil pan of her car open, (the whole is about the size of a child's fist, maybe a little bigger) flattened two tires and kept going. The bmw had a lot of heart though. It drove almost 20miles on no oil until it seized! It had 220k miles on it but it still started when you turned the key, zipped around corners and fit into tight spaces. Now it sits in front of my house, the circle-y headlights look more like a frown to me than the smile that they used to. My aunt had bought that car in 1998 with 50k miles on it and drove it until it had about 120k. I bought it from her and drove it another good 80-90k miles until I gave it to my daughter after I though she had proven her worth by driving our 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan. (Now my husband's) I will try to show you pictures. The right rear tire was torn apart. But let me tell you how I got it home. Probably the most ridiculously genius thing I've ever done. I my husband and I went to go pick her up (she reeked of alcohol I might add) and I sat in the beemer while he pushed the back off the car with the van down Sunrise Hwy. We barely made the light so I had enough umph to turn the wheel without power steering to make a right. Jeez. What a night. I lost 2 cars in less than 6 months. I went to a jeep dealer today because my daughter wants to put 5k down on a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee, didn't I teach her anything? We ended up looking at a 2015 and to get it to be about 250 a month, we had to put down 18k on 30. And that's for 72 months! I was willing to go with her up to 10k, but I can shell out 13 grand when I need to buy another minivan in a few months. So, we are going to go out to see some 2008-2010 ones at a used dealer, which I told her was sketchy, but, again, drove a car with no oil for 20 miles, what'd you expect? So, I will be taking her to work for the next month until either I get my new van or she gets her act together. I'll tell you about my new cars soon.

I don't know the age of your daughter, but maybe she needs to learn a lesson about paying attention before she tears up anymore "good" cars. Just my opinion.

I bought a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee today. 33k miles and it's a limited with a hemi, 5.7l engine. I matched her 5k down with another 5k to put 10 down on just under 21k. So, back to four cars. Let's see if she can not ruin this.

It depends, do you know the difference between a RWD beemer with about 6in ground clearance, and a semi?
