Drivers Side Headlight Failure

2004 V70. I have replaced the ballast, igniter, cable connecting them, as well as the shunt which was not black or deffective so far as I can tell. Just turned it on and light comes on for 10 seconds or so, turns off for 10 seconds or so and comes back on. I'm losing my mind. Please help!!!

I saw these same symptoms when installing aftermarket Xenons from "retrofit source". As you know that the passenger side does NOT exhibit the problem, swap components between the two sides until it is the passenger side that shows the failure. The last component swapped is thereby the proven defective one, and can be moved back and forth, and the problem will follow it.

Not sure if you ever figured this out but it's sounds like a failing xenon bulb. I'm sure you replaced the xenon bulb first but those symptoms sound like an old bulb on it's way out.
