240 fuel pump fuse issue

240 fuel pump fuse issue

The no. 6 fuse in my 1990 240 overheats and burns out. It happens infrequently, so I have not been able to determine the cause. Any suggestions on diagnosing this issue would be appreciated.

It's a spare fuse in 1993-240...what's your owner manual say?
