I bought a can of seafoam and plan on using to de carbonize my T5R. Anyone had good results with seafoam. Which vacuum line should I use when using the product? I have a bit over 220k on the ODO.
Thanks

It has worked great for me on all of the 850s. I dump 1/3 of the can in the gas, 1/3 in the oil, and then slurp 1/3 of the can into the intake manifold through any port that is normally capped on the vacuum tree. I slurp it in with a hot engine and then shut the car off for 15 minutes or so.

Do not do it in a garage, the smoke cloud is rather amazing after you restart the car and drive away but it clears up in a couple of miles. I leave the mixture in the oil for a hundred miles or so and then change the oil so I usually wait until I am just about ready for an oil change to give it the treatment.

Thanks Lee for your help
I will do it soon as i need an oil change now. I was reading the slurp technique is just to skim the top of seafoam w the vacuum line slow to prevent hydrolock. I will try it and post results.
Thanks.

You can suck it in quickly enough that the engine will stumble a bit but you don't want just poke the hoes in and let it drink pure liquid. I modulate the vacuum line in and out of the liquid in short bursts (a couple of seconds or so), just until the engine starts to sputter a bit, and then pull it back above the liquid line.
