This car as about 155,000 mi on it. Noticed it about a month ago on the Freeway. Went to give it a little gas to pass someone and it would not downshift right away. Yesterday when driving down a 25 mph road went to give it little gas to go up a hill and same thing- it would not downshift right away. Instead the rpms went up to about 3500. No codes, no arrow.
I am going to have to switch out the alternator- its not keeping up with a battery charge (but no light) but I have been waiting for warmer weather as this vehicle gets driven about 30 mi a week.
Thoughts?
