I installed a Xemodex unit on my '2000 V70 2.4 non turbo. When I first started the car it ran fine for about 10 miles. Then I turned the car off. When I restarted it, then it changed. It was hunting for idle, would not shift properly, would not get up over 40 mph, and it took a long time to get up to 40. I don't know what is happening? A Dud Xemodex unit? I tried disconnecting the positive battery cable with ignition in Position II and then disconnected the negative, touched the 2 cables together (which makes NO sense, but someone on the forum suggested I do it) and then waited a few hours, connected the negative and then the positive with key in position II. Same thing on start up, hunting for idle....... what is wrong??
Waiting for a response
Dan

Hello Goldmandan,
Try the ETM flow chart to assist in diagnosing the issue. Please pay special attention to the fuse test portion of the flow chart and get back to me with your results.

Hi I tried this the ETM clicked once but and started to whine but continued to whine for at least a minute, as opposed to 6seconds as the flow chart says. I have no codes or dash lights
