2008 S80 with V8 for Sale in Salt Lake City

Well it's time for me to part with my wonderful V8 powered 2008 S80. We are also selling our Class C RV and have purchased a Crew Cab truck with the intent of getting a trailer to pull behind it. I purchased this car in May of 2014 and it has been a pleasure driving it ever since. I’ve checked pricing on this car from KBB and NADA and prices range from 9,900 to 12,000 for private party sales. I’m asking 9,500. I’m flexible on the price, but will not consider low ball offers.

I bought it with 127,000 miles on it and now it has roughly 143,000. This car was driven by myself as my daily commuter and always treated well. I have religiously changed the oil with Fully Synthetic Mobile1 0w-30 every 5000 miles. This car is just about fully loaded. The only options it doesn't have are the rear entertainment system, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot warning. It really is a shame that Volvo discontinued this engine as it is so smooth and has as much power as you want. It's AWD which is great for wonderful acceleration without spinning your tires. I have this car posted locally here in SLC on a popular classified site as well as Craigslist. I have a feeling though that true Volvo enthusiasts will appreciate it more than the general public.

All leather is in good shape. Front seats are heated and cooled. The rear seats are heated too, but haven't been working since I bought it from the dealer. I've checked the fuses and connections to the seat so it's probably the control switches. Should be an easy fix but since I drive it solo most of the time I haven't bothered to look into it much further.

Exterior is also in good shape but does have the expected parking lot nicks and dings as might be expected from a 2008 car. The front suspension feels soft and could probably stand to be changed. Of course since this is the 4C suspension you should budget for that as it's not cheap.

Evap Purge Solenoid - 3/2016
