06 S80 drive shaft removal ideas

I am in the process of doing a lot of major repairs on my 06 S80 AWD. Started out with needing to drop oil pan, then needed one bolt to remove which is behind the transfercase so now I got to pull that. I needed to anyways to replace the beveled gear. In the process of removing the rear drive shaft only to have a hard time figuring out how to get it out. All allen head bolts are removed, carrier bearing is dropped. I need advice on how to get the shaft out now!! Does it come out of the cup on the rear diff, or does that come out of the rear diff too? Does the front cv joint on the drive shaft drop first? Everything is soooo tight.

I guess on my s80 I don't need to remove the transfercase to remove the oil pan. But removed it anyways as I needed to to repair the bevel gear.
