Just noticed last night that the edge of my hood is closing on the passenger side wiper arm of my '94 850 (see attached photo where it's rubbing/worn). Time to replace the wiper arm or is there an adjustment for this? I double checked before removing it that the bolt was tight, and that the passenger side (longer arm) is installed on the correct side since I recently had my windshield replaced.
Update: Just took a closer look in comparison to the drivers side wiper arm. It appears the reason for the passenger side one coming in contact with the hood is that the spring mechanism on the arm is keeping it in a popped up position instead of flush/flat position when installed. Is this something that wears out over time and requires replacement, or is there a fix around this?

is that arm off an 850 or did someone in the past put one off a V70 on it? The V70 ones should wipe better, but don´t clear the hood. You might also try to put it on in a differnt angle.
