Had intermittent turn signals, took turn signal stem off and cleaned the contacts. Put the stem back in, same problem, only worse. At some times, the turn signal would not turn off, even after I turned the car off/on. Ordered a new turn signal stem, replaced and now, nothing. The turn signals do not work, high beams do not work, message center cannot be changed. I pulled the stem completely out and the message center displays the same message when the stem is in place or not (Thought the contacts may not be mating (really hard to tell), but don't think this is the problem). Checked fuse #5 on the drivers side, it's good. also, the seat memory stopped working (the power seat will move, just the memory does not work...not sure if related or not). Out of idea's. If I can't figure it out, it's off to the dealer. Thanks for any pointers. (Also, put the old stem back in, nothing)

Which control module serves this circuit, BCM, CEM? Is this another component where you have to marry it to the car through VIDA/DICE?
Current Volvos:
1998 V70 T5, 112k sat 5 years, still in mechanical coma (finally at the top of the pile )
2004 XC90 T6 AWD: 186k, 60 on transaxle ( traded in )
1998 POS70 N/A: DD/training aid, 236k but really about 240k, I think...ABS module( passed on to son who sold it)
