The metal clip comes off, and then use a 'fuel line disconnect tool'
I am not making that up.
I made one from a 50 USD Snap On AC tool in the P80 thread, but you can buy the FLDT from Lisle at your FLAPS for about 15 USD
Lee also has a trick with a ballpoint pen but into two that works if you thread scour.
Visual - the dome shape has four pieces of spring steel that press on the inserted tube - you need to 'flower the springs' out to release the tube - all four at once.
