I need to replace the catalytic converter in my 1995 850 glt. My car has a California emissions sticker under the hood. I live in new Jersey. Can I buy a catalytic that is listed as not legal in California? Or will it mess anything up?

They were all shipped CARB compliant but if you are not in California you can use any replacement and be just fine unless NJ has its own oddball requirements. The car won't care at all but I can't comment on how the inspection process works in New Jersey.
