The car has just north of 150K on it but very mechanically sound.
I'm getting several strange occurrences which usually happen in this sequence mostly in this sequence.
I will get an alarm system service message upon startup every so often.
Once warmed up and running car will jolt shortly there after, and I will get the rear left door open message and the interior lights come on.
This will repeat a few times, then eventually all lights on the instrument cluster will pop on in succession and then the cluster stops working.
Car runs fine, windows won't roll down, no directionals. Then occasionally after the car won't start the next time because the I assume the immobilizer has disabled the starter. I take the battery cables off and let it sit a minute and it starts up fine.
I'm just curious from that batch of symptoms is this really just an alarm system issue or several issues that might be unrelated. I'm doing the work myself so I'd love to have some kind of plan of attack before replacing anything I might not need to.
I like the car, and the transmission shifts perfect, so even at the miles it's worth any effort I put into
