Just a friendly warning for those considering purchasing the Meyle "Premium" front brake rotors (I got mine from FCP). They are not drilled for the locator pin stud so if you need/want the locator pin to mount your wheels, these are not the rotors for you. Mine are probably going right back to FCP.

Do any of you guys use rotors without the locator stud?

I never use locator pins. They have been gone from production for 15 or more years. If I find something with one a regular bolt goes back if there is a hole in rotor. They were started as a way to keep rotor in place for production handling and then got the head to keep wheel tire in same place during the era of on the car balancing.

I really like the pin, especially the way it gives one a feel for the seatedness (made up word) of the rotor when you have just sanded the hub in these rusty parts. Save the pin!

It is worse than no pin. The drilled holes for the lug nuts don't line up with the holes in the hubs. They are just ever so slightly off that you'll fiddle with them for a while before realizing that mission completion is unattainable with those parts.
