97 850 a/c has no "hi" fan setting
I have a 97 850 glt. The a/c fan does not blow "hi" when blower switch is set to highest...... I have the 2 red blinking lights on the a/c control panel when the car first starts up and that goes away after a few minutes.. I did disconnect the battery to do another job and when I reconnected it and started the car the blower did come on high for a few seconds then it went back down again.... any ideas? There is a heater fan power module somewhere behind the climate control module.

ok found that Rober's DIY had a youtube video on this subject. There's a resistor behind the glovebox that most likely went bad.
I was replacing my blower motor when the same thing happened to me.......only missing high. Tested the resistor and it checked out. Checked the fuse and it was blown..... Wierd. Maybe the high setting has its own fuse... I was already in there so the resistor was easy to get at..... You might want to check the fuse first it's a lot easier to get to
