white block swap?

ive been using a Volvo 850 as a backwoods type race car and have had nothing but nightmares with the wiring harness relaying immobilizer and loosing all spark and cam/crank sensor readings. sensors test good can put them into a running car and running car still starts and runs. ive done a lot of reading of guys swapping these 5 cylinders into 240's and other rwd's but no one went in depth as to ignition and injector wiring is there somebody that knows how to "create" your own harness using factory ecu and eliminate all extra wires that are unneeded

will it be a create your own wiring harness and no longer us any of the Volvo relays and such? im new to this
