2000 S70 two wire cooling fan relay connector
2000 S70 two wire cooling fan relay connector
Can anyone tell me if Volvo offers repair pigtail harness connectors? I have a two wire relay connector that some plastic covers have disentigrated releasing the pins that control the fan speeds....thanks

They do make replacement connector kits but they don't really call them out by function in the catalog. There is a section in VIDA where they have pictures of them with part numbers but figuring out which picture goes to which connector is tough. A real good parts guy on the counter can figure it though.
Some of the kits come with a connector and the pins to crimp on and others come with a pigtail that you can splice into the harness.

I will try to dig find the connector page on VIDA and post it. If we can figure it out from the pictures then you can give the local dealer a part number. I was able to order a couple through Superior Volvo when it was owned by Hendrick but they were pretty obvious from the pictures and I ordered them by number.
The other option is to go to a pick-n-pull with a pair of dikes and snip one off of a wreck and then use either crimp splices or solder and heatshrink to splice it to your harness.
