Complete list of parts for effortless manual trans swap?

Post by Jazzop »

Alas, my poor 855 has died a sad death. I will strip it of all the "special" parts & accessories I have put on it (some of which I will probably list for sale here), then haul it to the scrapyard. My question right now has to do with the manual gearbox. I want to keep it and all the related components in case I come across another wagon that interests me. I do not own automatics.

Is there a complete list of all the parts one would want to have in order to swap a manual into an 855 or early V70? Since I have the luxury of stripping my own car, I want to be sure that I get everything down to the exact bolts so that if I do put this into another car myself, I don't bang my head against the wall for lack of some silly part that I failed to keep.
