Hello and glad to be here writing my first post.....
I've been having some issues with my tail lights and would like some input (while I also presume a decent wiring diagram may help best). After replacing the entire light housing on my 740 wagon (NOT the Turbo model), the lights didn't work properly after about a year. I later found the seal wasn't doing it's job (had I tightened it better it wouldn't have been an issue), as water had settled in the bottom-most housing. Before seeing the cause of the issue issue and drying everything out - I confess I did move some wiring around while changing and testing bulbs. At this point, the upper-most lights do not come on and my brake lights DO come on but on the bottom only. In fact, the upper bulbs never light. I find when I put on the brakes, my dash indicator lights as though there is a 'light' problem.
I'm a bit embarrassed because I normally take pictures when I move things around - and I'm in a bit of a pickle at this point. If you could send me a picture or a diagram so I can validate the wiring I would really appreciate it. I believe I still have notes on what bulb sits where - it's the wiring that I buggered up that I believe needs correcting.
Many thanks,
Tim
