xc60 code reader

I am getting an error (ERR) message when I try to read the codes on my 2011 XC60. I am guessing the the scanner (Innova 3100) it to old.

Can anyone recommend a good code reader that will work with my car?

Not sure why your scanner wouldn't work, it should. The best one to get for your car is the DICE/VIDA setup especially if you plan on keeping your car for a long time or own multiple Volvos which is discussed thoroughly on here: https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... 40&t=56799
