So I was putting the top half of my head on last night and set the torque wrench to 22ft-lb instead of 12 because I was tired and had been working on the car for too long and stripped one of the bolts next to the spark plug well. I can get about 8ft-lb on the one stripped bolt. What do you think my leak odds are?

Ugh. Take it out, drill, Helicoil. I guess you can take the chance if you don't mind having to repeat the work again - don't think you could hurt anything.

I won't be betting on 8 ft -lb either, it's 50% lower torque that neighbor bolts, enough to slightly bent the head surface and cause the gasket to leak. Even if it doesn't happen, once the threads on the head side are damaged, they won't keep the 8ft-lb forever.
