1996 platinum t5 wagon - insurance will sell it for $825 plus whatever it costs to get a PA salvage certificate so I'm open to a member doing that to save it...maybe I'm crazy to think anyone would but it makes me sad to think it's just junk. I don't want to make any money from this, just good Volvo karma, but I need to get it done soon if anyone is interested.
Sad...rear ended by a Prius and the repair at a local shop (high end shop but still) costs what the car is worth. It really just bumper mounts, absorber, inner bumper, and a cover and some paint...there a small indentation on the bottom of the tailgate. Rubber exhaust hangers, too, since it all pushed down. Lots of extra parts come with it recent timing belt, pcv system, recent Volvo reman transmission, nice black interior, big brake kit in the rear, ipd overload springs, newer continental tires, Midwest abs module just installed...seems a shame to go to salvage auction or yard. Driveable. Bought very recently from a board member enthusiast... it's really the nicest 96 I've seen in some time and I hardly ever see a platinum with black interior.
UPDATE- SOLD...THANK YOU
