1997 850 sedan antenna mast options

I need to replace the antenna mast as it only raises one section and appears to be totally jammed.

Do replacement masts come with the internal sleeve/collar that seizes into the top? I cannot get that out so will have to resort to collapsing it inwards to get it loose, and allow the mast to be removed. Motor appears to be good. Mast part # 3533568

Anyone had luck with after market brands like MTS (FCP), our good friends URO (surely they can make something that works) or do I have to go with the expensive OE one for around $50 US? Of course none of these will work if they don't come with the outer retaining collar. So if that is the case I may have to try my luck with PnP.

The aftermarket units have worked OK for me but they don't stay as shiny as long as the OEM versions. I haven't had them rust but they do tend to tarnish.

Thanks Lee. I guess this is all a moot point if the top retainer sleeve is not replaceable. I seem to recall having the same issue many years ago with a replacement mast (same antenna unit) on a 760 turbo. The mast discoloured quickly.
