I would like to restore the steering wheel of my 1998 S70 which has 188k miles. The wheel is a light gray color. It is very dry and cracking around the perimeter. It's far beyond what a leather conditioner will cover up.
I've had good experience with Leatherique products. Has anyone used these for their Volvo? I'm curious if their standard colors will match the light gray.

I tried a bunch of stuff once upon a time. The only real solution to this is to replace the steering wheel or wrap it: https://www.amazon.com/2001-2002-2003-2 ... +Volvo+S70
You actually sew these on and they look amazing. If you buy from Amazon, please use the link here at the top of the Home page...you might find this somewhere else for cheaper too though.

Those wheel wrap sets that you sew on yourself do look great. The persistent, dedicated people that took there time have posted on Amazon and had some amazing finished products. The recurring advice is to buy a good set of needles and better thread for the installation. One of the companies that produce the wheel wraps should consider producing shift lever and parking brake wraps as a set to sell on Amazon for individual makes and models so it all matches up and looks clean.
Always first off the line, while all the cool people are still staring at their phones.
