XC90 Boost Limits?

XC90 Boost Limits?

My 2004 XC90 2.5T(T5) is making 9 PSI of boost, and 15 in Hg Vacuum. The waste gate actuator rod is adjusted out 4 turns. The Cat has been hollowed, and the missile looking muffler has been removed and 2.5" pipe put in it's place. The stock rear resonator or muffler which ever it is, still remains. And I have a K&N cone style filter installed. So should It be making that much boost, and why does my turbo sound like Shhhhhhhhhhshhhhhhh instead of a high pitch whistle????

How old is the CBV? Have you done a Stage 0? What is the stock full-boost max in those (I honestly don't know). It's a low pressure turbo, so 9 psi might be stock.
