Front passenger window stuck down 1998 V70

Post by CouleeBear »

My front passenger locking switch recently got stuck in the "lock" position, so I disconnected the switch in the armrest. My boyfriend took the switch apart and tried to fix it, and in the course of doing so he says the window suddenly rolled all the way down and is now stuck. I replaced the passenger switch but it still won't roll up using the master or the front passenger switch, although the locking mechanism functions from both. I recently replaced the master window switch before this happened and all the other windows are functioning perfectly. Any ideas?

Try disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes, reconnecting then locking the car and unlocking it 5x with the key in the driver door...not the fob.
