I have been going through my new to me XC70 and fixing items as I inspect the car. The car has 74,000 miles and I came across the engine torque bushing and the hydrolic motor mount collapsed.
The torque mount is on the right side of the car by the overflow tank. Two 15mm bolts secures it to the car and frame. The overflow tank has to be moved to remove the front bolt.
The engine mount hydrolic fluid had leaked out and colapsed. It should be up about an inch above the casing not resting on the casing. With the torque mount removed and the coolant overflow container out of the way replacement was straight forward. I used a floor Jack to lower and raise the engine.
