V70 T5 A/C Blower Bypass

As the title would suggest, I'm having the classic blower resistor problem. I've found a few guides but none are for the P2 platform. Is it possible to bypass the resistor and send the full 12 volts straight to the motor with a toggle to ground? I installed a fix that I thought would work, but so far have had no luck. Thanks for the help.
