I have to change the trailing arm bushings on my 249,000 mile '95 854T.
I purchased Meyle brand bushings for the rear trailing arms.
When I opened the box today, I noticed that the right side bushing is made in Germany and the left side is made in China.
I generally would not be interested in the made in China pieces. The on-line description clearly states that the right side is German and now that I looked again, the left side is China. I just didn't notice as I looked at the right side description and just assumed the left was the same. That's my fault. and I hold no grudge against the seller.
To me, the China casting doesn't look like it's very high quality and kind of rough, but my opinion may be tainted at this point.
Also someone else may have had the same thoughts as the seal was broken on the "China" box.
Does anyone have comments on the quality of the "China" bushing?
What do you think of the "German" bushing?
Thanks

I used genuine Volvo. I was not willing to risk doing the job again so soon. I had enough bad experience with URO parts.
He had enough experience with Pro-Sweden parts.

That's what caught me off-guard.
When I saw Meyle and "Made in Germany" on the right bushing, I thought I was good to go. Never even thought to check the place of manufacture on the left side bushing. Again, it clearly stated that for the left and was my fault for not checking. Even though they were both Meyle.
I won't use URO or Pro-Parts ever again. Already been through that drill.
Tried a few times, but learned my lesson. That's why I'm asking about this.
