Hi,
I'm thinking of buying a Volvo S80 V8 2006 (MY2007).
The transmission shifts smoothly. They changed the valvebody. The first test drive it was a hard bang when shifting back from 5-4. Now it's gone.
What are the other things to check?
Thanks,
Kevin

I've bought the car. And indeed, the transmission is shifting really smooth when it's on temperature. (When it's cold it shifts a bit harder.)
I know the previous owner. (He has a S60R now) So, I know the car' maintenance and parts are all original.
Just one weird thing. I think I have an vacuum leak. I'm getting code: ECM-P200600.
It says something about the vacuum lines of the VVT. But where do I have to check?
