1999 OBD code P1073 ECM1100. Outside air temp sensor Topic is solved

I need some help. Volvo 1999 V70, runs great. But I can not get the sucker to pass emissions, I have a check engine light and the code P1073. I can not find anywhere what that code means at all.

It is also the code that is failing me at emissions. When I clear the code, it will come right back in about 20 seconds.

Maf on your car is attached on airbox just like on all other models.

Probably a bad MAF sensor. Which seems odd to me since you say the car is running fine.

In this case the site was wrong. Since the p1073 was in the custom manufacturer code range.

For a 1999 Volvo it's the external air temperature sensor. I broke down and narrowed a laptop with the Volvo software on it.

ECM-1100, visually verified as having the wire ripped out when I curbed it sometime in the recent past.
