Three Weird Error Messages: ABS, Anti-Skid, BLIS

Post by jlong8 »

Hey all,

Three error messages that appear all together. ABS/Anti-Skid/BLIS System Function Reduced

They come on altogether, or not at all. Usually happened in wet weather, but not always. Error messages would stay on for a few days, then go out on their own only to reappear weeks or even months later.

Code reader gave the Right Rear ABS Sensor at fault.

Ideas?

Removed the ABS speed sensor. It looked ok. Error messages still popping up after I replaced the sensor. YAW sensor compartment under passenger seat is dry as a bone.

Clueless.

What year the XC90? The axle shaft center bolt (center of the wheel) is tight?

Thanks for the reply. 2008 3.2 AWD

Will triple check axle bolt

EDIT: Axle bolt is good.

What else could it be?

No one has any idea why these three error messages pop up together?

Would clock spring also cause my BLIS error? Could my problem be electrical, do you think?

UPDATE:

My problem seems to be 100% solved. I bought a new battery and my error messages have disappeared.

So, for anyone else who has similar ABS, ANTI-SKID issues, this may be a relatively inexpensive solution.
