210,000 miles or so on the car, most recent work was an oil change a few months ago. Had been sitting for ~3 hours since my morning commute, in the sun... exterior temp is 72F; cars thermometer read 89F when I got in.
Tried to turn it on (shift selector in park, foot on brake)... nada. Didn't even try to crank, like if you tried to start it in drive.
Turned key to off, then tried again. This time it cranked and cranked, but didn't turn over... like the engine was flooded.
Turned key off and on a 3rd time. Fired right up this time, like normal. Dash display read "Engine performance reduced".
After driving a block or so, the engine performance warning cleared on its own and all seems to be working fine. Should I be worried? Any ideas?
